구미--(뉴스와이어)--엔에스랩(대표 김동성)의 온/오프라인 블록체인 지갑 서비스 Pure Wallet (퓨어월렛)이 ‘2024년 우수 정보보호 기술’로 지정됐다.

과학기술정보통신부와 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA)의 우수정보보호 기술 지정 제도는 정보보호산업진흥법 제18조에 따라 정부가 국내 정보보호 벤처기업의 우수한 제품 및 서비스 기술을 지정해 홍보·판로개척 등을 지원하는 제도로, 우수 정보보호 기술로 지정될 경우 △기술 홍보 △R&D지원금 △과기정통부·KISA 지원사업 참여 우대 등의 혜택을 제공한다.

이번에 우수 정보보호기술로 선정된 퓨어월렛은 인터넷이 없는 환경에서도 블록체인 트랜잭션이 가능한 블록체인 지갑 서비스로 보안 문제로 인해 인터넷 환경을 사용할 수 없는 국방, 원전, 산업 등 특수 분야에서 블록체인 기술을 적용한 인증, 문서 교환, 물류 정보 처리 등을 수행할 수 있다.

퓨어월렛은 2023년부터 미국시장에서 서비스를 운영하고 있다. 이번 우수 정보보호 기술 지정을 통해 퓨어월렛이 한국 시장에 확대될 것으로 기대된다.
