구미--(뉴스와이어)--국립금오공과대학교(총장 곽호상) 창업기업인 엔에스랩(대표 김동성)이 블록체인 기반 전자투표 솔루션 ‘퓨어보팅(Pure Voting)’을 말레이시아 UTM (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia)에 기증하고, 향후 연구·기술·인적 교류 협력을 추진하기 위한 기증의향서 전달식을 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르 UTM 대학에서 실시했다고 16일 밝혔다.
퓨어보팅은 보안과 투명성, 익명성을 바탕으로 하는 블록체인 기반의 전자투표 시스템이며, 대학 내 투표 및 의결에 사용할 수 있다. 이번 무상 기증한 퓨어보팅 솔루션 사용권은 5년간의 유지보수를 포함해 약 8만달러 상당에 해당한다.
엔에스랩은 앞으로 말레이 UTM과 연구·기술·인적 교류 방면에서 국제 협력을 추진해 나갈 예정이다. 아울러 한국통신학회와 함께 한국통신학회 말레이시아 지사 및 해외 대학과도 협력을 지속해 나갈 계획이다.
엔에스랩은 인도네시아, 필리핀, 라오스 등 동남아시아 및 나이지리아 등 아프리카 시장에서의 입지를 확대하고 있다. 올해 2월에는 나이지리아, 3월에는 라오스, 8월에는 말레이시아에서 국제 협력과 시장 진출을 도모했다.

(CEO Dong-Seong Kim), a startup company from the National Kumoh University of Technology (President Ho-Sang Kwak), announced on the 16th that it has donated its blockchain-based electronic voting solution "Pure Voting" to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and held a signing ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to formalize its intention to collaborate on future research, technology, and human exchanges.
Pure Voting is a blockchain-based electronic voting system that ensures security, transparency, and anonymity, and can be used for voting and decision-making within universities. The donated Pure Voting solution, which includes maintenance for five years, is valued at approximately $80,000.
NSLab plans to continue fostering international collaboration with UTM in the fields of research, technology, and human exchange. Additionally, NSLab aims to maintain ongoing cooperation with the Malaysian branch of the Korean Society for Telecommunications (KICS) and other overseas universities.
NSLab has been expanding its presence in Southeast Asian markets such as Indonesia, the Philippines, and Laos, as well as in African markets including Nigeria. This year, NSLab initiated international cooperation and market entry in Nigeria in February, Laos in March, and Malaysia in August.
