구미--(뉴스와이어)--엔에스랩(대표 김동성 국립금오공과대학교 교수)이 12월 말 NFT를 연계한 메타버스 플랫폼 ‘퓨어월드(PureWorld)’를 공식 출시한다고 밝혔다.

엔에스랩은 대학 연구실에서 국방 시스템 소프트웨어 기술 연구 및 개발 성과를 기반으로 설립된 연구소 기업이다. 현재 다양한 블록체인 기반 서비스와 이를 바탕으로 하는 메타버스 플랫폼 사업들을 추진 중인 시스템 소프트웨어를 개발하고 있다. 2022년에는 미국 MMAI에 메타버스 플랫폼 기반 콘텐츠 및 오프라인 트랜잭션 기반의 서비스 ‘퓨어월렛(PureWallet)’을 100만달러에 수출했으며, 올해는 ‘퓨어체인(PureChain)’이라는 원천 기술 기반의 블록체인 서비스 개발을 위해 200만달러 계약을 맺고 현재 합작 형태의 제품 출시를 앞두고 있다.

현재 이용자들은 베타 버전으로 서비스되고 있는 퓨어월드에서 레이싱 게임을 비롯한 다양한 콘텐츠를 즐길 수 있다. 정식 버전이 출시된 뒤에는 기존 NFT 자산들을 엔에스랩의 퓨어월렛과 연결해 이를 거래하고, 퓨어월드에서 실사화한 건물 및 공간들을 NFT로 구매하며 광고플랫폼으로 활용할 수 있게 된다.

엔에스랩의 퓨어월드 모델은 메타버스 공간에서 이커머스가 합쳐진 공간을 만들어내는 게 목표다. 이를 위해 현실 세계에서 이뤄진 영리 활동을 메타버스 안에서도 해결할 수 있도록 이미 개발된 블록체인 서비스들을 연동한 제품들을 개발하고 있으며, 이를 통해 다양한 비즈니스 및 서비스를 제공하고자 한다.

블록체인 기술 기반의 엔에스랩 서비스인 퓨어 시리즈(PureChain, PureCertificate, PureVoting, PureTrace 등)는 상용화 단계에 있으며, 국방 영역을 비롯해 산업용에 적용하고자 하고 있다.

한편 올해 5월부터 시작된 ‘2023년 메타버스 초기기업 인프라 지원사업’의 선정 기업이 된 엔에스랩은 인프라 지원 및 비즈니스 역량 강화 등 다양한 프로그램을 지원받으며 메타버스 플랫 퓨어월드의 성공적 출시를 위해 노력하고 있다.

NSLab Inc. is a research-based company established based on the research and development achievements of defense system software technologies from university laboratories. 

The company is currently developing various blockchain-based services and metaverse platform businesses. In 2022, it exported a metaverse platform-based content and offline transaction service, "PureWallet," to the U.S. MMAI for $1 million. This year, NSLab entered into a $2 million contract to develop blockchain services based on the core technology "PureChain," and is preparing for the launch of the product in collaboration.

Currently, users can enjoy various content, including a racing game, in the beta version of PureWorld. After the official version is launched, users will be able to connect their existing NFT assets with NSLab's PureWallet to trade them, and purchase buildings and spaces in PureWorld that have been digitalized as NFTs, which can also be used as an advertising platform.

The goal of NSLab’s PureWorld model is to create a space that combines e-commerce within the metaverse. To achieve this, NSLab is developing products that integrate blockchain services, already developed in the real world, so that commercial activities can be addressed within the metaverse. Through these products, NSLab aims to provide a wide range of business and services.

NSLab's blockchain-based services in the Pure Series (PureChain, PureCertificate, PureVoting, PureTrace, etc.) are at the commercialization stage and are being applied to various industries, including defense.

Meanwhile, NSLab, selected for the "2023 Metaverse Early-stage Company Infrastructure Support Project," which began in May this year, is receiving support for infrastructure and business capability enhancement. The company is working hard to ensure the successful launch of the metaverse platform, PureWorld.
