NSLab Inc. Exports Industrial Blockchain Technology to the U.S. for $2 Million

NSLab Inc. (CEO Dong-Seong Kim), a research-based company at Kumoh National Institute of Technology, has achieved the milestone of exporting a new industrial blockchain technology to a U.S. company for $2 million.

NSLab Inc. has exported its consensus algorithm (PoA2) technology to MMAI, a U.S. company, for use in industrial distributed systems and smart grids, securing a 50% royalty on the U.S. market. The signing ceremony for this agreement was held on March 8 at the university's Industry-Academic Cooperation Hall 5G Experience Center, attended by Dong-Seong Kim, CEO of NSLab Inc. (and Director of the ICT Convergence Specialization Research Center at Kumoh National Institute of Technology), Augustin Gohil, CEO of MMAI, and Youngmok Ji, Director of the Gumi City Economic and Industrial Bureau.

The PoA2 technology being exported to MMAI utilizes Smart Auto Mining (SAM), which offers both fast transmission speeds and reliability. Additionally, it is designed with a Proof of Authority (PoA) blockchain architecture, making it suitable for industrial applications. Most notably, the combination of smart auto mining and PoA, utilizing AI and automation, is the world’s first to enhance efficiency by saving energy, storage space, network bandwidth, and computational complexity.
