바이오 플랫폼 기업 라셀릭코리아가 국립금오공과대학교 ICT융합특성화연구센터, 디지털인증시스템 솔루션 기업 퓨어글로벌과 함께 보건의료 데이터 표준 인프라 구축을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 의료 데이터의 안전한 관리와 상호운용 체계 구축에 초점을 맞춘 산·학·기업 간 협력 모델이다. 각 기관은 의료·바이오 데이터 처리 기술과 메디컬 ICT 연구 역량, 디지털 인증 기술을 연계해 국가 단위 보건의료 시스템 적용이 가능한 플랫폼 구조를 공동 연구할 계획이다.

최근 글로벌 의료 시장에서는 정밀의료와 재생의학 확대에 따라 의료 데이터의 보안성과 신뢰성 확보가 핵심 과제로 떠오르고 있다. 특히 국가 간 데이터 이동 과정에서 개인정보 보호와 데이터 무결성 유지가 중요한 이슈로 부각되면서 각국은 자국 내 의료 데이터 관리 체계 고도화에 속도를 내고 있다. 

라셀릭코리아 측은 이번 프로젝트를 통해 의료 데이터를 비식별화 방식으로 처리하고, 데이터 위·변조 여부를 검증할 수 있는 인증 체계 연구를 추진한다. 또한 유럽 GDPR, 미국 HIPAA 등 글로벌 개인정보 보호 규정 대응이 가능한 구조를 목표로 개발을 진행할 예정이다.

이번 협력에서 라셀릭코리아는 의료·바이오 임상 데이터 처리 플랫폼 기술을 담당하고, 금오공대 ICT융합특성화연구센터는 메디컬 ICT 기반 연구개발을 수행한다. 퓨어글로벌은 디지털인증시스템 기반 검증 기술 및 인증 인프라 분야를 맡는다.

라셀릭코리아 관계자는 "국가별 의료 환경에 대응할 수 있는 데이터 관리 체계 수요가 확대되고 있는 상황"이라며 "국내 기술 기반의 디지털 헬스케어 인프라 모델 구축 가능성을 검토해 나갈 계획"이라고 밝혔다.

라셀릭 세포재생의학연구소 정종화 박사는 "첨단 바이오 연구가 실제 의료 시스템과 연계되기 위해서는 데이터 신뢰성과 보안 체계 확보가 중요하다"며 "안정적인 의료 데이터 관리 체계 구축은 향후 디지털 헬스케어 산업에서 중요한 기반 요소가 될 수 있다"고 말했다.

Lacellic Korea Forges Tripartite Partnership to Build Next-Gen Healthcare Data Infrastructure

Lacellic Korea, a bio-platform company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the ICT Convergence Research Center at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT) and Pure Global, a digital authentication system solutions provider, to establish a standardized infrastructure for healthcare data.

This agreement represents a collaborative model among industry, academia, and enterprise, focusing on the secure management and interoperability of medical data. The participating organizations plan to jointly research a platform architecture applicable to national-level healthcare systems by integrating medical/bio-data processing technologies, medical ICT research capabilities, and digital authentication technologies.

In the global medical market, securing the safety and reliability of medical data has emerged as a critical challenge alongside the expansion of precision medicine and regenerative medicine. In particular, as personal information protection and data integrity become vital issues during cross-border data transfers, countries around the world are accelerating the advancement of their domestic medical data management frameworks.

Through this project, Lacellic Korea aims to pursue research on an authentication system capable of processing medical data using de-identification methods and verifying data against tampering or forgery. Furthermore, the development will target a structural design compliant with global privacy regulations, such as Europe’s GDPR and the United States’ HIPAA.

Under this cooperation, Lacellic Korea will be responsible for the medical/bio-clinical data processing platform technology, while the KIT ICT Convergence Research Center will conduct medical ICT-based research and development. Pure Global will oversee the verification technology and authentication infrastructure based on digital authentication systems.

An official from Lacellic Korea stated, > "Demand is growing for data management frameworks capable of responding to different national medical environments. We plan to review the feasibility of building a digital healthcare infrastructure model rooted in domestic technology."

Dr. Jong-Hwa Jeong of the Lacellic Regenerative Medicine Research Institute added, > "For advanced bio-research to be successfully linked with actual medical systems, securing data reliability and robust security frameworks is paramount. Establishing a stable medical data management system will serve as a crucial foundational element in the future digital healthcare industry."
